My mother currently lives with my husband and I in our new home that we bought a few months ago. She hasn’t had a job in 5+ years. She doesn’t get any sort of assistance. They have turned her down for all of them. No food stamps, nothing. My husband and I are paying for not only our food, housing, power, bathing, etc. We are also paying for all of her stuff. I am also paying to care for her 2 cat’s. New litter boxes, litter, food, vet bills.

I asked her if she would please just simply clean the house for me and sometimes cook. That is all I have asked of her. She is now throwing a fit that she is the only one that cleans or cooks and refuses to do it now. She will not do the dishes.

It’s only fair that she does this simple thing right?! I don’t want her like deep cleaning everyday, just simply pick up and do dishes or laundry. If she doesn’t do that she sits on her ass, eats all of our food, and runs up our power and heating bill all day. I’m starting to get to a point to where is she doesn’t either get a job or some assistance to help us or do what I have asked her, I will have to kick her out.
