Do you regret being a stay at home mom?

I only say yes because I generally really like working, and I never didn’t work. So this isn’t something I ever pictured for myself.

I'm a stay at home mom of a 2 and 1 year old and its the best. Like its the easiest thing ever. Plus i get to be around my babies 24/7

Not at all. Ever since I had my first all I ever wanted was to be able to stay home. I had my second about a year ago and now finally a few months ago I was able to quit my job ♥️ loving spending everyday with my babies

I’ve been a sahm for 7 years! I love it! I’m very lucky to be able to do it! I don’t regret anything about it!

I don't regret it at all!! Do I have shitty days that test my patience and sanity, of course I do!! But I wouldn't trade them for anything!! I've got to watch my tiny, squeaky newborn grow into an intelligent and independent 3 year old. And baby #2 is coming in may!!

No regrets at all about being a SAHM. I presumed that I would go back to work after I had children, once my maternity leave finished. But then my mother, my best friend, died the year before I had my first baby, and my perspective changed on everything. When it came to the end of my maternity leave I realised I could not leave this little person with strangers and I realised how precious every minute is with our loved ones. I had friends who were aghast that I wasn't going back to work, but they were only operating from their limited level of understanding, they hadn't lost a loved one and just didn't get it. I've just had my 2nd baby and I love being at home. Yes I have the same struggles as everyone else, but it would be more of a struggle to be away from them. When they are both in school I hope to go back part time, but for now I'm right here with them, I'll never get this time back.

I couldn’t depend on others to provide for my needs. I have to work bc if they don’t have it , what happens ? I personally couldn’t let anybody else have control over my finances. I guess I’m too independent for it.

I'm in the middle. Some days I miss going to work and getting a break other days I love it because I was having to drive out my way to bring my daughter to a babysitter.... it was putting wear and tear on us and my car, its saving me money not having to pay for a babysitter or the high cost of daycare, I'm not working off someone elses time, I get so much done around the house, getting things done outside the house, I can make appointments without it getting in the way of work. My daughter is home and I know shes safe, if we want to do things we just go out and find something to do.

I can't imagine leaving my son every day. I miss him if I go to grocery and leave him home with hubby.
