It all started with a lie...

Over three years ago, this guy I met through work invited me to go shopping with him and hang out. Afterwards, he invited me in for a quick supper. His family was out of town, so he said he’d just make some Hamburger Helper. We talked and laughed, and he kept asking if he cooked the meat right or how you know when the noodles are done.

We started dating shortly after that. A couple years go by, we get married, and something suddenly occurs to me. This man cooks me gourmet meals, he did not need my help making Hamburger Helper that night!

When he got home from work I tell him about my revelation. He laughs and says, “Aww, baby. Of course I didn’t. But how else was I gonna get the pretty girl to come stand next to me!”
