I changed her name

I don’t know if any of you remember but my daughters name was previously Ava. I liked it but I wasn’t in love with it. Her name is now “Lily” for short. I feel much happier with this change. It fits her. When I look at her I don’t have regrets or “what-ifs” clawing at the back of my mind. It’s going to take the family some adjusting or getting used to. I’m really grateful that the hospital allows birth certificate corrections until the child turns one. So this is a lesson learned for all you parents. CHOOSE THE NAME YOU LOVE. Do not live with regrets because someone else doesn’t like it.
