Absolutely! I had my tubes tied five and a half years ago now and have not missed a period since. The procedure doesn’t actually interfere with your cycle at all, you still ovulate, the uterine lining still thickens as normal, the only difference is your tubes have been cut/burnt/clipped so the egg has no way of passing through and therefore can’t be fertilised. Your lining then sheds as normal causing your period.

Yes but you could always get an endometrial ablation to lessen periods or even an IUD along with it. I have an IUD right now for period control but I'm going to keep it when I get my tubes tied so I can be sterile and have no periods 😁

Yep and you still go through menopause and all of that! My mom had her tubes tied 25 years ago (after she gave birth to me) and still had periods and just recently finished going through menopause
