Nausea and period

I have had pretty bad nausea for maybe the past 2 weeks. 5 days ago I started spotting and the next day was really heavy bleeding and then nothing the day after that. I'm still feeling nauseous a few days later. No positive pregnancy tests before or after period. Never had anything like this before. Any ideas?
