1 perfect baby girl arriving July 2019: Priceless.

Update: im 9 weeks so it is very early for an announcement but after everything we went through we felt comfortable announcing after hearing the heart beat 3 times.

I’m getting lots of questions about how we know the gender so early. After our embryos reached blast we had the pgs tested to look for any chromosomal abnormalities, such as Down syndrome, which runs in my family. Also I have some chronic illness that we weren’t sure how would effect my eggs and what not. Turns out one of our embryos did have Down syndrome and it was a high rated embryo so it would have been one of the first transferred. Since pgs tests for chromosomes you are able to identify gender this early. We didn’t want to gender select so we waited to find out until we graduated from our clinic 😊
