Some of the others who attend the same church as me have recently come to me to talk to me. More specifically, to scorn me. My style could be called goth. I wear mostly black everyday. I also listen to a lot of rock and metal music, which my fellow church members somehow learned about me. Finally, I am often seen with my friends, most of them also dressing gothic. Two of them also smoke (I don't smoke, though). These are the things I was scorned for. My fellow church-goers said that God must look down upon me for surrounding myself with darkness, and that God will punish me and my friends for my disgraceful choices and behavior. Are they right? Is this lifestyle I'm living truly bad?
