Positive OPKs over the weekend, got possible O pain last night???

This cycle has been so darn weird, I can't seem to wrap my head around it. So I figured I would pose the question here and see if anyone could shed some light.

So this is only my 2nd month off of BCP. My thermometer is the cheap one from Target so I'm not feeling too confident on my temping, but I'm sticking it out for some sort of consistency. I got positive OPKs this past weekend from Friday (CD15) through Sunday (CD17). This is exactly what happened last cycle too. So FF and other apps (plus here too) were predicting an ) date of CD17. Yesterday afternoon, I started getting this weird sharp pain around/near my right hip and this was off and on through the evening. I'm not sure I've ever experienced O pain but I can't for the life of me figure out what it might be (unless it's just some random pain and has nothing to do with TTC and I'm working myself up for nothing).

So this morning, I wake up and take my temp and it says 97.18 and for some reason, I think it's a repeat (because I've heard of the thermometer that I use does this and I was not quite awake yet), so I take it again and now it says 97.58. Not sure what to chart, but it I use the lower temp, FF can't figure out an O date, and if I use the higher temp, it now thinks my O date was CD15... what do you make of this??
