Has this ever happened to anyone?

So I was just about to fall asleep and I hear this loud ass laugh (that didn’t belong to anyone I live with or a tv) along with another weird noise and It scared the literal shit out of me.
I know it’s probably most likely my mind playing tricks on me but a part of me can’t help but feel creeped out by it 😂 has this happened to anyone else?

GIRL, lemme tell you some funny shit. Imma try to make it quick.
My fiance got up extra early one morning for work. He came into the room and was like.."um...babe..did you just laugh...???" 
And obviously my answer was no bc I was asleep.
Well after he woke me up I realized I had to pee also so I went to the bathroom, did by business, flushed and then I heard what sounded like a really creepy "HAA HAA". 
I was SHOOK. I stood there frozen and every hair on my body stood up because I heard the laugh too. Then I noticed the toilet squeaked and I finally realized the motherfucking toilet was the culprit 😂😂😂 it was old and something in it was acting up so it somehow made that creepy ass noise for us to hear at 3 am😂😂😂😂😂

Not a laugh, but sometimes I hear people talk right before I fall asleep and I’ll get really freaked out. However, it’s normal to have hallucinations when you’re falling asleep or haven’t gotten much sleep.

Over the course of my life, sometimes while falling asleep I think I hear someone yell my name or hear a loud banging noise, something along those lines. I’m not sure why it happens lol

Lol yes this happens to me. A lot. This is why I like having a dog in the house. It's not always a laugh but a loud noise. Like a clap, a horn, someone going "oof" etc. 
It happens when I fall asleep to fast. Not all the time but enough to wear im used to it now.
