Baby smelly hair?

Hi my baby is almost 3 months. Sometime after he was born I notice his hair smells real bad like greasy oily smell. His dad hair actually smells the same but I think his older and works. but he's a baby how can he smell like. Has anyone struggle with this maybe what I can use to at least get his hair smell good for couple of days. I shower him with baby magic lavender. after his shower by the end of the day the smell starts smelling. idk what to do?? any suggestions.
