Went in for my 37 week check today at 36w5d, baby has always measured on time or a week ahead today she said he’s measuring around 38 1/2 weeks! I’ve been taking EPO orally and vaginally for a week since my last appt last Tuesday. Last weeks check up I was not dilated, 50 % thinned and -3 very high. Today I am 2 cm dilated, 70% thinned and when she began the pelvic exam she was shocked, barely in she said his head was there at her finger tips. I was excited about all of this news because this is my 3rd baby, my smallest being 15 months old I’m a tired mommy. My oldest is 5 but I’m so over pregnancy!!!! Either no more kids or give me another 5 to 10 years before I think about doing this again. My body and mind deserve a little peace. I was so eager to get him out earlier now I’m thinking I can hold out about 2-3 more weeks. I have plans for my birthday coming up dec 8, spa day with my best friend. Reason to get away from the kids and treat myself at almost 39 weeks pregnant.

On top of EPO, I’m drinking red raspberry leaf tea, trying to walk as much as possible had a couple rainy days here this last week and the next two weeks are full of rain, bouncing and rolling my hips with my birthing ball and dancing with my lil mini everyday.

I just hope he doesn’t come before Sunday it’s my last weekend of work trying to make the most of it since the finances have been tough since about 6 months pregnant, I’m a stay at home mom and work weekends so it gets a little tight but I prefer raising my kids during the week instead of paying $2000+ a month on childcare.. do it as long as I can. So appreciative of the support and love of my family.
