Hi ladies. Ftm here. I was wondering if cervical checks are necessary starting from 36 weeks. I was told there’s a risk of infection when you are being checked and not to agree to it unless you get contractions or think you are in labour. What do you guys recommend? I have my weekly appointments from tomorrow at 36 weeks and think she may check. I have the right to refuse too right. I mean checking just keeps you informed as to where you are in dilation and effacement but doesn’t do anything too
