am I crazy?

so for the last little while I’ve been thinking about what would happen if my daughters bio-moms new baby girl ends up getting put up for adoption...

right now the new baby girl is in the care of a foster family (which happens to be the same foster family that is adopting bio-moms oldest daughter. (bio-mom has 3 girls, all different dads, and none are in her care.)).

The foster mom and I talk a lot, and she just told me yesterday that she is pregnant with her and her hubbys second child (they have one of their own already, as well as adopting the oldest child from bio-mom like I said before. so that would make 3 kids for them.) So she’s pretty sure if the bio-moms new baby girl does get put up for adoption that they won’t adopt her because that’s a lot to take on all at once.

and lately I’ve been thinking that me and my SO could adopt her if she doesn’t get put back with bio-mom. I must be crazy right?? I’m already Mom to my SO’s daughter (who is bio-moms 2nd girl), and I’m willing to raise another one of her babies? I mean, technically the baby is family because her and my daughter are half-sisters, and we’d know that all 3 of the girls would keep knowing each other and seeing each other because we visit with the foster family that is adopting the oldest...

Is that a crazy idea?? I feel like I’m crazy, even though it would most likely be soo good for all the girls... 🙈🤷🏻‍♀️ thoughts??
