Feeling Defeated

I’m so disappointed. I have been waiting for orientation. (over a month) I took all the necessary step to secure the job. Passed drug test, accepted the job offer and then BAM, I get an email yesterday saying due to my criminal record. (1/08/1999) I did admit to the question & answered it with the mistakes, and accomplishments I have achieved. I feel discriminated. If anyone can help please offer.
