How do you and your SO split up household chores? Me and my guy both work 40(+)hours a week. We just bought and moved into our first house together. Before this we had a small 1 bedroom apartment. Now were in a split level 3 bed 2 bath house. Before we moved in, I told him I want us to work together on the cleaning. He does a great job cleaning but rather than just cleaning, he asks me what to do. I thought making a list of stuff to clean weekly would be great for both of us to visually see what's cleaned and what's not. He laughed at the fact that I was making him a "chore list". I about lost my mind because that's not at all how I want him to feel. Any ideas or suggestions? I found a weekly cleaning list for a household but idk, maybe someone has some better way to approach this.
