Is exercise ok for women at 40 who are pregnant?

Hi,

I was told that exercise is fine as long as it's moderate and as long as you've done it before pregnancy. My doc gave me the clear and asked me not to overdo it. So I've toned down my workout from what my body was used to before pregnancy to be on the safe side. I walk 30 min 4 days a week with an incline of 3 and speed of 4.2. Then 10 minutes arm workout using 2 pound weights (I used to do a much more intense workout pre pregnancy) .

Is this ok for our age or should I quit it all together? Or does moderate exercuse have nothing to do with the age of the mom?
