help!! I really don’t wanna miss out on a great guy but I am struggling because i’m nervous/shy.

backstory: we talked pretty non stop and then we went on a first “date” which was amazing the conversation flowed pretty natural and we both really wanna see each other again.

yesterday we were texting and the conversation kinda just fell off and ended without either of us saying goodnight which we usually do. does anyone have any advice on how to keep the conversation going/interesting I feel like i’m so bad at this, i’m shy to begin with and i’ve never been in a real relationship before. I want to keep this going!!!
