Me and my boyfriend have been dating for almost 10 months now, we love each other so much but there’s just a big problem, his family don’t know about me😬

My bf family’s originally from Bangladesh so his family keep tradition such as arranged marriage. Hes 19, I’m 17 and black, he’s been too scared to tell his family because he feels like they’ll disown him. He told me that Asians like to talk about each other and if other people find out he’s dating a black girl they’ll start talking bad about his family. Even though he’s not close to them he just doesn’t want to cause conflict.

His mom died last year so he doesn’t want to lose his dad or sister.

He has good job now and has moved city so we’re in a long distance relationship now. My family know about him but they just don’t like the fact he’s keeping me a secret, he doesn’t like it either.

I don’t really know what we can do, does anyone have any advice?😬
