What furniture items do I need for my newborn?

FTM here. What are your must haves for newborn furniture? I was thinking of getting a pack and play that comes with a changer and all rather than a bassinet or crib. My hubby and I will be in a one bedroom apartment for the first few month of my babies life so I’m trying to just get the necessities for now. We’ll deck out our babies room later 🙃 Do newborns need bouncers or will they use that a bit later?

I’m just looking for furniture/toy suggestions.

Definitely that pack n play with all the bells & whistles for your beside, and then we had a rock n play for the living room for baby to nap in during the day. You can find them inexpensively without all the extra attachments for that on Amazon & Walmart & such. 
I also definitely recommend some sort of baby wrap or carrier for shopping trips, even just walking around the house. 
LOVED the nubbawub pacis because you can throw them in the wash & they don't get lost as easily. But pacis clips are also just as convenient. We do both. 
Either a white noise maker, or buy those dollar white noise apps. They are SO worth the extra dollar. 
Those are my must have basics other than things like clothes & diapers & wipes 😋
OH, and my favorite diaper bag that I have found, FAWN DESIGN. They're deep, have the perfect amount of pockets, it has the backpack style straps as well as messenger bag strap, and it's so freaking cute. It doesn't look like a typical diaper bag. It's wipable for spills, and I've had my through 2 babies (about to be 3) & it still looks brand new!!

Don’t waste money on a bassinet lol. 
We had one given to us with our first and I can honestly say I would never actually buy one.  
We used it for like a month. 
I highly recommend a pack n play that has like the different levels with it. You can use it longer and it’s portable.

Definitely get a bouncer/swing/baby chair of some sort, you need somewhere to put them 😂 we did a lot of floor play but for the half hour naps every few hours the bouncer was a life saver! I also highly recommend the stupid grass baby bottle drying rack. I was sure it was just a waste of money until baby was 6 months and I finally gave in, and then kicked myself for not getting it sooner 🤦🏻‍♀️

I just got a basic pack n play with no changer attachment or napping thing. And a swing cause he loved that. No crib for us. No changing table for us. Just a tall dresser for clothes that I didn’t need to hang.
