Light bleeding/spotting after cervical check?

38 weeks 3 days.. had an internal exam today and I’m 1 cm and 50% effaced... anyway I got home and noticed some light bleeding and spotting. Is this normal?

Yes. I’ve had it with both my cervical checks. Passed some bloody tissue, but mostly reddish brown and clear discharge.
