Light pink spotting at 19 weeks - normal?

Has this happened to anyone else and is this normal?

I just went to the doctor. They said my cervix looks good, there was no blood, and that the baby’s heartbeat was perfect! Fingers crossed that it doesn’t continue happening.

I had this and went to get checked, I’m also 19 weeks, the doctor used a speculum to look at my cervix and knocked something and the bed was covered in bright red blood! So turns out I have cysts and follicles on my cervix which if knocked they bleed. Doesn’t effect baby thank god. Just so you know it can be ok. X

Not to scare you either! And like they said it could be something simple but I had this at almost 26 weeks and my water had started leaking. By the time I went to the doctor the next day I had leaked all my water and my daughter had no heartbeat. I would get checked just to be safe!

Not to scare you— it could be nothing!!— but you should absolutely go get checked by your ob/midwife ASAP. I had this my last pregnancy at 16 weeks and my water broke and I went into preterm labour a few days later. It was likely an infection in the lining of my uterus (which could have been treated), but also might have been a small bleed in just the wrong place (which couldn’t have been treated). If you have rhythmic cramping start, get yourself to emerg immediately.
