Effacement and Labor

I want to my 37 week appointment to days ago. I was 90% effaced and 1 cm dilated. I’m a first-time mom, and I am just wondering if anyone has had this experience and going into labor shortly there after. My midwife is very certain I could have this baby anytime, but I would love to hear real stories from other real moms. Thank you!
