3D ultrasounds

When is the best time to get a 3D ultrasound of my sweet baby’s face. I’ve heard around 26 weeks because they’re developed but anytime after that they’re all smooshed. I wasn’t sure if that was actually true. What are your opinions and feel free to share ultrasound pictures for reference!
