Unique names and spelling

I am not trying to bash anyone, just trying to shed a little insight from someone that has a uniquely spelled name. Please take into consideration your child(rens) feeling when choosing your child’s name and spelling. All of my teachers, drs, telemarketers, anyone who has ever had to read my name always mispronounces it. As a child it bothered me so much that I asked my parents to change my name and requested that my teachers call me by my nickname, KK. Even as an adult I’ve contemplated changing the spelling of my name but I’m afraid to hurt my parents feelings. It’s just extremely obnoxious always correcting people.
