My boyfriend is pretty honest and real with me except for when it relates to anything that he thinks will disappoint me.

So if we have plans that he may have to cancel he’d tell me he will “possibly” come see me later instead.

Or if I wanna go somewhere but it can’t happen he’d say “possibly” or “I’m not sure” instead of a flat out no.

It gets really annoying because I am so understanding and all I ever ask for is transparency and honesty. So why does he find it necessary to be the opposite of that just so he can avoid cancelling on me ?

Doesn’t he know that leaving me in a position of being unsure and waiting on his confirmation is even more disappointing than him cancelling altogether??!

I’m sick of it now
