How would you feel if you told your boyfriend you loved them and they completely ignored it ?

If he’s not ready to say “I love you”, you can’t force it.  I suppose he coulda said “thank you” or “okay”.  What were you wanting him to say?

I said I love you to my fiancé first.
I took him off guard and his response was "what about me?" 😂
He just wasn't ready to say it yet. He eventually did. You can't get angry at someone for that.

Would you rather him lie? Or feel forced to say something he’s not ready to?

I told my husband I loved him first and his response? “Do you?” He panicked and we laugh about it now but it took him four more months to say it to me. I’d MUCH rather him wait and say it when he’s ready than just saying it out of reflex or obligation.

depends on how long you guys have been together, if he isn’t ready to say it he might’ve just froze up & not have known what to say. I wouldn’t freak out, just wait until he says it.
