My MIL Stole Our Christmas Gift Idea

Yes we Know its not a competition but This is Our First Christmas actually getting to buy her something that expensive because I actually have a good paying job to buy it. We had asked her not to buy her stuff like. An we would buy her games but She already bought her 10 gamesgames to go with it. An she wouldn't be able to keep it at her Grammys house because she doesn't have a TV that would play it.

I am gonna post this Anonymously because I don't wanna deal with the people saying "well you shouldn't get that for your 8 yr old she's to young"

Well my husband and I were gonna get our 8 year old daughter an Xbox 1X for. Christmas because she has been very mature playing on her dads (of course she won't have games that aren't for her age group) but WE BOTH decided that was gonna be our big gift to her for Christmas and now we can't get it for her because her Grammy got. It for herher already. & yea I know most of you are gonna say "that's not a big deal to worry about" Well yea it kinda is when we told her that WE were gonna get it for her. An my husband told me to just let it go but I can't because the last 3 christmas's she has gotten her something big and we've been stuck with the shitty little toys to give to her. Last year, she got her the big Barbie dream house, the year before that, she got her a trampoline, & the year before that, she got her an electric scooter. An the rest of the stuff on her Christmas list I cannot give her! She won't a Brother or Sister & I can't give her that right now because my body doesn't want to carry a baby it seems. An this dog that she saw at the shelter, but her dad doesn't want her to have a dog right now so that's off the list.
