Can you have period before hcg level is back down?

I tested my hcg level last week and it was 18 tested again yesterday and it was 8 i go back next week to test again.

I had a d&c on october 30th

I was 10 weeks and baby only measured 8 weeks and no heartbeat, found out on the 18th of october.

so its been about 4 weeks since d&c and im starting to bleed again very lightly today.. could this be my period or what?

I didnt think i could get my period until my hcg level was back down to -5

is this true? what do you think?

At my checkup the dr said my cervix was closed back up.. would it open back up to bleed more ?

soo confused please help!
