Need in help of some tips and tricks for makeup! Read description please and thank you! 🙂

***** I’ve realized that I wrote way too much so for those that want to read it all to understand where I’m coming from and what I’m saying, thank you for reading my non sense ramblings ❤️. For those that do not want to read this all then scroll down to the bottom to find out what I need help with and a little info about me so you can get an idea so I can get the most out of the look I want.

Ok so I’ve always loved doing make up and hair and you think the way I grew up that I would know how to do make up or at least know the basics. All the women in my family always worn makeup but never taught how to do so and when we would get makeup for holidays or birthdays it would be the kid cheap shit 😒 anyways I’ve always kept it to a minimum since I knew I didn’t know how to do most things besides foundation (just started a few years ago on setting it with spray and concealer, I’m totally embarrassed that I’m 23 years old and didn’t even know people did that every time they put on makeup 😳), eyeliner and mascara. Two years ago, I started watching YouTube videos and the high following ones so basically the people who wore expensive ass shit that I could never afford and didn’t realize they made videos about good drugstore brands that are good and affordable until a month ago... so I’ve bought make up here and there and I’ve started buying the nice expensive ones. Why is my foundation still coming out flaky around my dark circles (and you can clearly still see them) and around my jawbone looks lighter like as in I didn’t put foundation on and always my foundation starts looking cakey af!! Also to mention I have hooded eyes so my eyes don’t look right when I follow a makeup tutorial and they look smaller and eyeshadow crease is not blending out the way the professionals are looking. Now I know that mine won’t look like theirs because they’ve been doing it for a long time and most are MUA but still I feel like it should come out looking decent when in reality I looked like I got punched in the face. I know this is long but I’m really trying to look as best I can do it but I need help with tips and tricks. Most of time I do my makeup, I end up taking it off even though it took me almost 2 hours and I just wasted all that good product when I can’t keep going out and buying it because it’s not really in my budget. Someone help me please?? Here are the things I need help with:

- Makeup coming out looking nice and smooth and not so cakey that you can notice it across the room.

- Blending eyeshadows to where there are no harsh lines.

- Contouring, like where do I contour at?? Some do it lower than others but I can’t tell where it should be on me? Btw, I’m oval shape face.

Little bit about me:

I’m fair skin, have some redness but barely noticeable, oily skin everywhere but underneath cheeks then it’s just dry flaky skin.

- hooded eyes and it’s the puffy hooded eyes.

- blue eyes with brown hair.

** also want to say that I have every single makeup product, like face moisturizer for before makeup, primer, foundation, concealer, setting powder, contour and highlight, bronzer, blush, eyeshadow, eyebrow products, lash curler, eye liner, mascara, setting spray. But I just don’t know how to use them properly to get a decent/good makeup look without looking like my 5 year old sister did my makeup.... THANKS IN ADVANCED!!!!
