SMEP Method?
Hello!
This will be TTC Cycle #2 for my husband and I. Last time we just BD’d almost the entire fertile window.. to no avail.
So for this cycle I did a little research and discovered the SMEP method, the “Sperm Meets Egg Plan”. For those who don’t know this method, the steps are simple:
1. BD every other day starting on CD8
2. Start using opk strips on CD10
3. Upon the first +opk strip, BD that day as well as the next two days.
4. Skip a day and BD the following day.
5. Take a pregnancy test 15 days after first +opk (or CD35 if no positive yet)
Today is CD12, so I’m a little bit late... but I started my opk strip testing today. I BD’d on CD9, CD11 and CD12. I’m off by a day... does that mean I’m already out?
And if you’ve done the SMEP method, was it a success? Tell me your experience with it!
Fingers crossed for a BFP for Christmas 🤞🏽🎄✨
