Sleep talking story!

I rolled over to go to sleep and hubby sleep talked and said “Ow!” I didn’t think I touched him but I asked if he was okay. “No, that really hurt!!”

“I’m sorry hunny where are you hurt?”

“My lip!!!”

“Your lip?”

“Yes!”

“How did you hurt your lip?”

“.......what time is it?”

“1:00 so you still have lots of time before work.”

“Okay.”

(Me thinking he’s awake now since he asked me what time it was) “Are you sure you’re okay?”

“No. It really hurts.”

“Your lip?”

“No! You don’t understand!!! You keep thinking it’s my lip, but it’s not my lip, it’s my LIP.”

At this point I die laughing but am trying not to wake him up for real.

He makes a really angry face and makes a big show about rolling over to face away from me.

The next day I ask him if he woke up and he annoyingly tells me he remembers being mad at me because I was laughing really loud and woke him up. I told him why and he didn’t remember any of it (except me laughing) we were both impressed as this is the longest sleep talking conversation we’ve had!
