Do you have dreams your being cheated on?

I’ve had dreams my SO cheats on me since we met. He’s not like that at all and he’s very trustworthy. But this has been on going for years now. It’s atleast once a week maybe more I wake up in tears. Im prone to night terrors.. had them forever. But being with him manifested into dreams of my heart breaking. I also have horrible anxiety about myself. Someone please help me or atleast tell me im not alone

Yep, it's just our own insecurities. I have that he cheats on me and I cheat on him. They suck but just remember they're only dreams and don't mean anything. I had a dream the other night that I had an affair with Chal Drogo from Game of Thrones. Woke up and told my DH about it, and he said "haha nice he's a good looking dude"

Have you been cheated on before? This can be stemmed from a past trauma experience? But I know things also get in your head and insecurities sometimes take control. Just do your best to not think too much into it.

I have dreams that my husband cheats on me or leaves me for his ex once in a while. He also has dreams that I cheat on him with a guy I slept with before we met. It sucks, but I just try to ignore them

You’re not alone. Those types of nightmares suck- I’ll wake up and start sobbing. My boyfriend reassured me it’s just a nightmare and he’d never do that to me. 
I’ve been diagnosed with PTSD. A lot of it is from a past (very) abusive relationship in which I was cheated on multiple times. I realize this is why I have these nightmares and trust issues ever since (it’s been 8 years since that relationship ended). I’m going to go back to my psychologist again soon to talk through some of the issues in hopes I can finally heal from all of that. 
Whatever the cause of it is, try to get some help if you feel it’s necessary. Good luck!
