Would you tell your friend they smell?

I’ve noticed bigger girls or girls that use pads for long periods of time sometime’s smell really bad during their flow. How do i tell my friend her blood is stinking up when she walks in a nice way? Or do i?

You gotta be honest, but nice. I get bad BO when I fall into a depression and stop taking care of myself. When I was visiting my aunt, she brought it up to me nicely and then helped me by cutting my hair and giving me perfume for the future. Just come from a place of love when you tell her

Just be honest. I would want my friend to tell me if I smelled before grossing everyone out with it, especially in a work   environment. Maybe she cant afford pads or genuinely doesn't know what to do with them. It's amazing how many people dont talk about personal hygiene  with their kids so no one knows.

I had to tell a friend she had BO. I was sitting next to her in the car. She often had BO but I didn’t tell her that. I just told her she smelt that night and gave her my perfume to mask it as we were on our way out and there was no option for her to bathe. 
I think it’s best to just point it out once and then perhaps refer to your own experience of smelling if you don’t change a pad/tampon in X amount of time. (Even if you have not experienced it). Softens the blow a bit. But try not to tell her she often smells like period. Girl might get a complex over that.

Just be honest. It may hurt her feelings, but will spare them immensely in the long run. If I stunk in any capacity, I would 100% want to know!

Maybe ask her a question about it in a way that frames it towards yourself. Like, “I was curious if you knew how often people should change their pads...” and after her response say something like “Oh well I’ve heard you should change it....(insert time)... or else it’s not all that good for you”. Idk something like that maybe. Just try to direct it towards you rather than her and see if maybe that helps
