How do you know what diapers to get for you baby!?

How did you choose what diapers and brand you wanted for your baby?  I understand some babies have reactions too.  But more so curious what the popular choice is!

I get a newborn starter kit or sample pack of a few different brands and tried them all before choosing which to buy in bulk.

I think it just depends honestly, there’s probably not one everyone likes best. I think it’s more of a thing where you use what people around you and your friends and family tend to use, personally for me I don’t like the amount of waste they produce so I am doing cloth but for the first few weeks till their poop gets “normal” and not so sticky I will use disposable diapers. I don’t personally care which ones, but I won’t be using them long term either.

My sons allergic to all things pampers, breKs into horrible rash and hives, but has no problem with Walmart brand 🤷🏼‍♀️it’s basically trial and error really to find what works for you

For newborn I loved the pampers swaddlers it goes to size 1 ,then we tired huggies and I loved them ,but ended up going with loves diapers .

I have heard from several people that Pampers are better for skinnier babies and Huggies are better for chubbier babies. Mine was skinny, so we went with Pampers and loved them. Now I buy the big boxes from Costco because they’re way cheaper. Kirkland brand.

This is the main reason I LOVED having a diaper raffle at my shower . Not necessarily for the extra supplies but I got to sample most of the popular brands. We didn't have very many people but I ended up with pampers , parents choice, target brand, the honest co, Kirkland and prolly one or two more but for me
Pampers =rash 
Parents choice/ target are basically the same but they leak at night.
Honest co felt like a big paper bag. 
We love huggies and Kirkland

We got a bunch of different brands from our baby shower. Pampers, Huggies, Luvs, and Target brand. We started on Huggies because that’s what the hospital uses, and we’ve tried the others as we go. We prefer the Target brand, but we’re using the others up as well since my son seems to be able to use them all.

My son peed through loves. Honest company we’re not as soft as Huggies and pampers. Huggies were cheaper than pampers. Other store brands we tried we didn’t like.

I've liked the huggies little snugglers and little movers for both my kids. My daughter would break out with any other kind. My son does not have sensitive skin but he leaks more with  cheaper kinds. I've tried to switch to save some money but it's not worth it because I end up having to do more laundry. He pees a lot at one time. Now expecting another little boy and I'm probably just going to stay loyal to huggies.

We got alot from others and we also bought different kinds. Once he was in 1s we chose. But what helped us decide is what fir him the best, legs and butt area. And then what held the most of his pee and poop. We use parents choice during day. and then luvs for night. Luvs hold more and are bigger. But it's just what worked for us.
