First period question

So I’m 14 years old and I got my first period November 14th (today is the 2nd of December) but I don’t know if that was the first day of my period or if the first day was the 15th. Because on the 14th I was only spotting but the 15th it was really heavy. And also i was spotting for 8 days and I was only heavy/moderate for 3 days, so was my period 8 days or 3? Sorry if that was confusing lol
