Although it’s not possible to menstruate, some women do experience intermittent bleeding while they are pregnant. It’s not common, even though I’m sure you’re going to get responses by some saying “My grandma’s best friends Mom had her period with all 3 pregnancies”..It’s scientifically and biologically not possible. 
Spotting can be common, especially in early pregnancy, but intermittent bleeding or “period-like” bleeding is not common! 🙂

Yes of course! One reason that I know of is from a sch (subchronic hematoma) I had one with my last pregnancy mine was on the small side at 3 cm and thankfully never did bleed .. Delivered it with my healthy born son ..

Some women have gotten a almost period like bleed while pregnant but not continuously and implantation bleeding is very light and pink not red no clots
