How do I explain to my husband that birth is about the MOTHER and baby. We have such a big disagreement about who can be in the delivery room. I compromised and said yes his sister and mother can be there I just don’t want them down below because that makes me uncomfortable thinking of being so exposed in front of them. His thinking there women so I shouldn’t feel uncomfortable with them seeing me naked🤦🏽‍♀️He says I’m blowing it out of proportion and that it’s a beautiful experience and no one is going to be thinking of my vagina. That it’s about our daughter. I totally agree it being about our daughter but how I feel matters as well I’m giving birth!! Being uncomfortable with who can see me naked is not going to make the birth process any easier, but he doesn’t understand that. I feel like he’s being so emotionally selfish when it comes to delivering the baby!
