Just bought my first cup

So I’ve been doing some research about the cups. I’m not due for my period until the 15th but I bought my first cup today. If anyone has any advice or suggestions or thoughts about them please help. I’m excited and scared at the same time so anything would be appreciated. I usually wear tampons but I have to change them every hour sometimes less because I can be so heavy, is the cup better for this? Is it comfortable, how do I know it’s in all the way?
