Have I been ghosted

I realize in this post I might come off as a clingy desperate weirdo but bear with me. So I’ve been texting this guy back and forth for a couple of days and we were getting on pretty well and he was responding with like long messages and seemed engaged in the conversation and then I responded to a message of his last night and he didn’t respond and I figured he fell asleep which makes sense it was late but unlike before he never got back to me at all today and he never read my message. I have no idea what brought this on but have I been ghosted or is it too early to tell??
