What is my bra size? 😅

My band around ribcage measurement is 28 inch and around breast is 34 inch. I looked on online calculator and it keeps giving me something crazy like 28 F. But I know I am not f cup and it is not practical since many places (in US at least) carry 30-38 aa-dd. I never have worn cup bras before only sports bras and bralettes in small medium or large depending on the brand so this does not help much to determine it. Anyone know? Thanks.

Here's the tea. 28f is your bra size. Here's where it gets wierd. If you ever shop bras you'll notice that they don't sell bras starting with a 28 inch band size. So, you have to look for your sister size. For example, I am a 30c, but if I can't find my size I go up the next band size and down the next cup size. (They skip odd numbers for band size, so the next sister size I would look for would be a 32b) A "c" cup on a larger band size will be much smaller than a "c" cup on a smaller band size. The sister sizes will be as close to your bra size as possible, but your true size is still the 28f

Each 2 inches in difference is one cup: 34 minus 28 is 6, Which is 3 cup sizes and so you’d be a C cup!

I would recommend getting a bra fitting in person. Victoria’s Secret will fit you even if you don’t buy anything. They should be able to give you a better idea of your size than some online chart.

The letters for cup sizes depend on the difference between your band and breast measurements. The chart you found online is correct, you’re a 28f. It sounds really big but that’s because department stores carry a very limited selection (I think around 70% of women are wearing the wrong bra size, correct me if that statistic doesn’t sound right). If you look online, you can find 28f pretty easily (I’m a 30G and I look on brastop.com. Some of their stuff is pricey but their clearance section still has a lot of good stuff). Getting your band size right is super important because that’s supposed to be where you get all of your support. You’ll get really bad shoulder/back problems if your girls are supported by the shoulder straps. Sister sizes still work but the band won’t be as tight so you won’t get as much support. I’ve found that they just don’t feel the same as my actual size but that’s just me. Good luck!!

I’m out of ideas to explain lol but I hope that helped a bit  hard to know cup size with just the band measurement  you could be a C?
