Mini pill?

Hey mamas I am now 6 weeks pp and my OB is discussing contraceptive with me and offering the mini pill. Has any one taken this? I used to take trinessa but stopped about a year before I had my baby. What’s yalls thoughts on the mini pill for those who have tried?

This is what my doctor prescribed for me.  Ive only been On it for a week

My OB suggested the same one. I haven’t picked up the prescription yet. Also, I don’t understand when it will be effective given I have no periods yet, it can’t be effective as soon as I start taking it, right? Like, 4 weeks later?

This is the only birth control I can use because of migraines and other health issues with the other birth controls. You have to be crazy strict with it. Take it at EXACTLY the same time everyday or it is less effective. I was strict and used a second form of birth control and still got pregnant twice on the mini pill. But for me one of my other medications makes it a little less effective (which is why we double up).
