Second vr?

Does anyone have advice or experience with having to have a second reversal doc has us scheduled for another s.a in 3 months then to decide on having another VR or Ivf. I’m so lost and down

Our 2nd one worked. Not pregnant but sperm is present.

I don’t have any experience however my husband and I are considering a second vr if this round of ivf isn’t successful.  Did you husband have vas to vas?

We had VV/VV done in March 2016. And another VV/VE done in March 2018. As of our last SA in October we still have zero sperm present. We have never had a positive SA , but he had plenty of sperm present at time of surgery. Thankfully we extracted and froze some at the time of the second surgery. And we will be using that to start IVF in April. If you do decide to move forward with a second surgery I recommend that you 1. freeze some sperm, 2. Do not wait more than two week to have sex post surgery, 3. Take anti inflammatory to help with swelling and healing such as aleve or prednisone. Our biggest issue is scar tissue and our second surgeon made us wait 30 days to have sex 😳😳 I think that was when he developed more scar tissue again.... good luck ladies! It is a very tough decision but I don’t think there is a right or wrong way. Nothing is guaranteed on this journey.
