Can’t stop thinking about the rapist

Hey just wanted to come on here and ask other survivors of rape or sexual assault how do you handle it when you can’t stop thinking about the person who did this to you. I find myself stalking his social media. I think he has a girlfriend and I just want to tell her what a POS he is! But I don’t know what to do and my therapist says I’m looking for answers from him or an apology that I will never get. Any advice? Also I did report to the police and I know that’s going to be a long process. Anyone else that has reported I would love to hear your story and advice. Thanks.
