Has anyone taken Levamir insulin during pregancy? Im terrified it will hurt the baby. Im 37 weeks.

I take levamir every night ... My Dr won't prescribed pills he says insulin is much safer for pregnancy.

My doctor (and the articles I've read) all state that insulin is much safer than glyburide (the oral medication). Don't worry, but ask your doctor questions if you need to. I've been on insulin since 24 weeks and my baby is healthy. Good luck!
