Whose period has returned?

I’m 6 weeks PP today and not sure if I’m getting my first period. I’m breastfeeding my baby but also supplementing. I have a low milk supply and hope I don’t dry up if it is my cycle returning. I’m a FTM and curious what other moms have experienced.

I’m breastfeeding & supplementing, I started spotting two days ago and today was definitely heavier. So I’m assuming it’s my period. My milk supply seems the same.

I bleed for 4 weeks after birth, got my period at 6 and 8 weeks pp. Each one lasted a week. My baby is exclusively breastfed. I was hoping to be one of those lucky ones without a period for awhile but....nope :(

I have bled on and off since I had my twins October 4 I have no idea if I have had a period or not because I have bled for the entire 8 and a half weeks since they were born, they are formula fed
