Nightly sleep routine?

What is your evening routine like? Would love to hear from moms whose baby sleeps through nights and how you do it.

Here is my routine:

I bathe my 9 wks old son at about 7pm(every other day as I have a toddler, so I alternate days), nurse and put him to sleep....he likes to be held in the evenings (thanks, grandma...still love you) but he wakes up at 9pm, then 11pm, 3am, 6am, 9am. I will be going back to work in few weeks and honestly I’m terrified of lack of sleep.

I’m pretty confident that I’m missing a small piece of the sleep puzzle and would love to learn from the experts.
