unhappy with my manicure 🤦🏻‍♀️

so last night i got a gel manicure like i always do and i picked out what i thought was a sparkly red (for the holidays and to match my 21st bday outfit!) and it turned out as a hot pink and i absolutely hate it but i didn’t want to stop the guy bc i know how much of a pain it is to redo gel. but i’m really unhappy with it and my birthday is in 5 days and i want it to go perfectly, but i already spent $30 on this manicure. is there anything i can do? should i go back to the salon and ask for a polish change? i know it will probably still cost me but what is my best option here?
