My daughter’s been bit at school...

Zoe • ❤❤❤❤

I need some advice. My daughter, Chloë is 4 years old and has been bit 3 times in the last week by 2 different boys(age 3). Her class is ages 3-5 and by the end of the year the kids are 4-6.

She never provoked the biting, literally she was bit for nothing. In the back, upper arm, and forearm. There have been many other incidents of her being hurt by other students. I’m going to speak to the VP about this.

I would like to know what are the policy’s around biting at your child’s school? Is it a 3 strike rule? Are children who are constantly aggressive asked to leave the school?

Edit,

I left out what I’m most concerned about, her mental health. She has started blaming her self and not defending herself. She stood there and said “no, thank you” repeatedly as she was being bit. She didn’t push them off, didn’t say get away from me. Yesterday after the incident happened she didn’t tell me it happened. That in itself is worrying to me but she has always been taught to solve her own problems.

I asked her at night because the school called me but didn’t specify the kid. She said Leo bit me, but I know Leo he is the sweetest boy, there is know way. She was covering for the actual kid, I did get it out of her but I’m so bothered. She never lies either.
