Mulder and Rocket

Mulder is my cat amd Rocket is my dog, I've had Rocket for about 2 years. I've only had Mulder a few months but Mulder keeps attacking Rocket and all Rocket wants to do is make friends! Any suggestions on how i can make them not chase each other around??
